Hello Lasha,

Well...there is so much to say. If there is a way to protect your work from being stolen, I feel you can capitalize on it by selling it to movie or cable networks. It goes far beyond the Twilight, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia and Golden Compass type of films/tv series that are so prevalent these days. Just food for thought in case you'd like to see some material benefits on the physical plane.

Speaking of which, I'm sorry to hear about your battle with the leeching lizard and subsequent bump and bruises. I hope you can make that thing disappear. I'm sure I've got something similar on me. Mine seems to bring out the beast in people wherever I go. I myself don't sense it. It's other peoples' reactions towards me that has always made me question what it is about me that bothers so many strangers. I get stared at most everywhere I go, and treated with disdain when I've done nothing to provoke it. Sometimes peoples' pets will gaze over my shoulder as if there were some invisible entity there that only they can see.

It is very coincidental about your brother experiencing the same flare ups on his body at the same time as you. I don't speak to most of my siblings either, but it's funny to think that we have something in common with them, other than our bloodlines. No doubt you stirred up the entity on him while doing battle with your own.

I hope you heal soon and continue to keep your sense of humor about the ether world that has opened itself up to you. I'm glad, for your sake, it comes and goes. It would be good to learn how to turn it off when you need a little peace from the 4th dimension.

Thank you so much for your email. I can certainly sense your energy and feel that you have a sensitivity for these kinds of experiences; as you have had some of your own. Strange stuff, isn't it? But there is also something about it that seems so natural. We are blind to so much of life.

One problem I have had is that I find it very difficult to be in large groups of people and, especially, in large groups of psychic people. On one such occasion I went to one of these 'psychic fairs'…you know…where all these different kinds of spiritualists and psychics have their own little booths. Well, I can assure you, I will never make that mistake again.

As I wandered through the crowd everyone who walked past me…and I mean everyone…kept staring at my upper chest. It was very unnerving. Until finally, an older man…bless him…pulled me aside and told me that there were many beings drawn to me because I had the most brilliant deep red light emanating from several inches above my heart chakra.

I am sure I must have looked at him like a deer in the headlights. He gently touched my hand, smiled and said 'it's okay dear; it's a good thing.' And then he walked away. I have since discovered that when we go through a new stage of spiritual movement just such a light emanation streams from a lesser known chakra in the upper chest, up to our crown chakra and then further up to higher realms. Life, eh?

And yes, animals are constantly watching the space around me too and, I am sure, seeing things. Animals see emotions and other worlds like we see colors. 'Angels with fur', I always call them. They are so precious.

Also I have had some dealings with TV and film industry people in the past who, you are absolutely right, have already pilfered my experiences and my work…claiming it to be their own. Proof-positive, in my opinion, that scaly, energy-sucking leeches are, indeed, alive and well. Not a pretty picture.

Really, I have no desire to interact with these people or receive material gain from my private spiritual experiences. That is not and never will be my mission. There was a time when I was being wooed by these film and television types but, I can assure you, after much chicken soup, bed-rest and penicillin…I got better.

I have become very aware that Hollywood operates as a kind of black magic world; complete with fiendish wizards, demons, sexy victims and marauding henchmen. When Randy Quaid claims the hidden existence of 'star-whackers' he is absolutely right. Absolutely.

Good morning

Very interesting article. The thought of possibly having something like that attached to us isn't all that reassuring. Creepy but possibly everyone has it, or maybe it feeds on the energy of people with strong vision.

This past week I have had a few thoughts come to mind out of the blue, just everyday things but sure enough they happened within minutes of it hitting my mind. Normally I am way off base but the odd time things are bang on.

Years ago a friend of mine gave me a scrying mirror made of black obsidian. It was a beautiful thing really but I only ever saw one thing in it all the times I tried to see. What I saw was creepy,... it was a reptile, snake, and the color was like a metallic green. I never used it after that and a friend has since borrowed it and it has not come back. I think they were meant to have it.

One thing I fight with on any horoscope is my zodiac sign. My birthday is July 22, 1965 cancer/leo cusp. Some say I am a cancer and some say leo. I usually check both and try to come up with some sort of average. Never really helps though.

Anyway very interesting article indeed.

Oh yes, creepy is a good word here. But, please don't feel that any of this can harm you in any way or disrupt your spiritual journey. If they could harm you, they would have done so long ago. We all have these things attached to us to some degree, just as we all have bacteria in our intestinal tract. Really, it is quite a natural thing and merely points to where we can help ourselves the most and do our best work.

The scrying mirror is interesting. I have never had the courage to make use of one…probably too many Walt Disney movies as a toddler, I think. But I am fascinated by your experiences. That 'metallic green reptile' thing sounds quite remarkable. I suspect you may have briefly witnessed a passing entity; as these things are all around us.

One thing I have found to be very helpful is a simple prayer-type thing. Sometimes if I feel a little encroached upon or tired, I simply and mindfully say:

The light of God surrounds me. The love of God enfolds me. The power of God protects me.

This is an ancient and secret prayer. And it is very powerful. When you actually say…the power of God protects me…you can feel it. Use it sparingly.

Oh and the Zodiac thing…yes, if you were born on the cusp read both signs. Technically, if you know the actual time of your birth you will be ruled by one sign or the other…but both will, to some degree, apply.

Also, when reading my horoscopes, if you know your Ascendant (the sign the Earth was in at the moment of your birth) read that sign first and then your Sun sign. I have developed my own manner of casting a horoscope and when I am writing for your Ascendant, I am actually viewing more for your specific chart when studying the planets. Hard to explain…but your Ascendant will apply more to the actual events in your life while the Sun sign and the Moon sign will apply to your thoughts and emotions, respectively.

Dear Lasha,

I'm fascinated by your column and very pleased to see you sharing your journey with everyone. You seem to be learning to cope with your new found ability. Not an easy thing to do I'm sure. I imagine a lot of us who read your column have had odd experiences too.

…when my husband and I moved into a house we had built. I was home alone and had taken an afternoon break to meditate. I was new to this and had sat down for an hour and listened to a Jose Silva meditation. Right after the meditation I got up and went into my living room. I was trying to decorate my new home. We didn't even have a TV set up yet. I looked at my fireplace trying to decide on what I was going to put on the mantel (the house is completely quiet and serene as I was the only one there) and I began to hear a chorus of voices talking. I was amazed, confused and frightened. After that I didn't meditate for a long time for fear of having the same experience again.

I'm sure you've heard many stories like this before. I am not brave enough to go where you have gone. The entities you speak of sound slightly familiar. I have had a few astral projections (spontaneous) where I saw a few creatures. They ran from me when they saw me.

Please keep writing. I'm amazed by your experiences. Your column in a treat I'm looking forward to.

Dear D;

Sounds in the fireplace are very familiar to me. I have heard and felt them too, from time to time. What I have seen lately is that there are vortexes of energy that exist naturally. To me they seem to be kind of cone shaped but very thin…almost the shape of the inside of a fireplace. I think sometimes when stone is very close to underground water or rushing water, or very close to one of these vortex energy centers, these kinds of impressions, voices or spirits can make themselves known. I suspect that they are mostly a kind of replaying energy though, and for the most part are not actual beings. I have never found them to have any kind of auric field or sense of light to them. Which, to me, means they are not a living force but rather a kind of energy reflection.

Please do not stop meditating because of this experience. There is just far too much to be gained.

Thank you for confirming that it was not necessarily a negative experience to be avoided. That was my question, I suppose.

I wasn't asking for any reference, but appreciate your generosity immensely and will look into the material you suggest. Actually, I should say that I appreciate very much any good reference that comes my way from a valid source....so thank you for what I may have been seeking, or eventually will be seeking, anyway.

In all honesty, I'm a little wary...I don't want my third eye to do any more than it's already doing. I'm not there, yet...as they say. I have too much respect for what is beyond me and my understanding of the natural world, and would not want to mess with it through arrogance or ignorance.

That said, I will read the material you have sent my way and look forward to your writings in the Field Notes column.

My pleasure, really: I am of the mindset that if you know something, you should share it. And it is also very important to listen to your own inner voice about these things. The 3rd eye will not open unless you feel safe, protected and capable of learning. I believe it is a natural sense and presents itself to us, I think, only when we are prepared. You must listen to and honor your own instincts. These feelings don't just float around and land on you…they come from somewhere. Find out where.

I don't really have anything to add to your words, except to say that I am going through a similar time of awareness and growth into the unseen and mysterious. I had an epiphany a few years ago that my job was to be a guardian of those that cannot be seen. I did not know what that meant back then, but… I feel that I am onto something….

Yes, I have had a very similar awareness come to me. We all have parts of ourselves in all the different realms and dimensions and, yes…we do have a job on 'the other side' that we are doing 24 hours a day from this dimension. We just aren't aware of it. If you feel you are a protector, then you most probably are. Just let yourself explore that and you may be surprised by what you learn, sense and begin to understand about yourself.
